Meet Gail E. Frick, DMD

Education and Practice
Dr. Frick earned her B.S. in Biology from Scripps College in 1973. She obtained her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1977 and received the Excellence in Removable Prosthodontics Award upon graduation. After practicing for two years in Boston as a general dentist, Dr. Frick returned to California and completed the ADA accredited Residency Program at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Dental School where she earned a Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1981. Since that time she has been in private practice with her husband, Curtis L. Barmby, DDS in Walnut Creek, CA. Dr. Frick is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of the Pacific Art Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Dr. Frick is a board eligible member of the American College of Prosthodontists. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Contra Costa Dental Society as well as the Seattle Study Clubs.
Family and Community
Dr. Frick was raised outside of Bakersfield in the farming community of Arvin. She has resided in Walnut Creek since 1981 where she raised two sons. During that time she volunteered with Boys Scouts of America as well as with other activities involving her sons. Since 1978, Dr. Frick has been a member of the Junior League, joining the Boston League and continuing in the Los Angeles and the Oakland East Bay Leagues. Her other interests include gardening, reading and enjoying her book club, friends and family.
